Cheney Public Schools is committed to partnering with families to insure that children have their basic needs met. Children are better equipped to benefit from educational programming, which is our primary focus, when their physiological, safety, security, and social
needs are met (Maslow's Hierarchy).
Our
Essential Foundations establish a student achievement goal that ALL students achieve grade level standards. We believe that all students are capable of success; yet, ensuring high levels of learning for ALL students may require that we access regional support for families.
As a staff member of Cheney Public Schools, you may serve as a primary source of information in support of families. The resources on this section of our website are available to support you in this important work.
