Capital Projects

Cheney Public Schools has seen continued growth for many years. In 2017 a bond was run to renovate and expand the five elementary schools and Cheney High School.

In 2019 and 2021, Capital levies were renewed, allowing the district to pursue other needed facility upgrades. Read more about the work completed here.

In the winter of 2022, a Facilities Planning Committee was recruited from the community. The committee comprises 15 parents, five from each distinct community in the district--Airway Heights, Cheney, and the West Plains--and 14 community members and civic leaders selected from the three communities. More can be read here about their work
