On November 16 the second graders at Salnave Elementary welcomed Hilani (EWU K9), Officer Archie (Hilani's handler), and Sergeant Hill to share information on how Hilani helps support them in their duties as police officers. Hilani is a service dog who provides emotional support to those in need. Their visit supported the second grade Social Studies focus on Community Helpers.
