The Cheney FFA chapter took twelve students, including four officers, to the FFA Leadership Conference in Chewelah, WA. They were joined by approximately 250 FFA students from other school districts. There were six different rotations at the conference that covered livestock judging, soil evaluation, sales, agricultural issues, forestry, and a large focus on being prepared to interview for a job. During the conference students learned the basics of agriculture and were provided hands on experience with many projects. This conference is an annual event and the students are already looking forward to returning next year.
