The Student Advisory Team will work together in support of our district goals and outcomes. They will meet throughout the year to determine and work towards their team goals and outcomes in response to district goals and outcomes. This team will work with the superintendent and district leadership team as student representatives.
The Student Advisory Team consists of students from every school and is broken into three levels: elementary, middle, and high.
Who?
Cheney Public School Students, grades 2-12.
Where?
The Student Advisory Team will mostly meet virtually and will also have whole group meetings at a district site.
When?
All advisory team students will meet with the superintendent and district leadership team to learn about current district-wide priorities and goals. Level teams will meet each month and work towards a focus and actions in support of district improvement.
The advisory team will work in collaboration with the superintendent and district leadership team, report their progress throughout the year, and share a year-end impact report.
Student advisors can serve up to a two-year term per level.
