Cheney Public Schools Science Education Philosophy

 

The students of Cheney School District will experience, understand, apply and analyze scientific concepts and the practice of inquiry in the areas of life, physical, earth and space science in a cohesive and consistent manner within and between the K-12 grade levels.  The teaching and learning of science content and science process is highly aligned with the Washington State science standards. Successful student learning will be measured by monitoring student assessment data and achieved through a collaborative culture that honors the roles of administrators, teachers, parents and community.
