Welcome to Cheney Public Schools Lost & Found webpage! We understand that sometimes items get left behind on buses, and we’re here to help reunite you with your belongings.

 
For smaller, non-electronic items: The driver will keep the item on the bus for 24 to 48 hours. If the item is not claimed during that time frame, it will be transferred to the Transportation Department home office for safekeeping. If the item is not claimed by the end of the semester in which it was lost, it will be donated to a local second-hand store.

For larger items and any electronics: The item will be transferred to the Transportation Department home office for safekeeping. If the item is not claimed by the end of the semester in which it was lost, it will be donated to a local second-hand store. All electronics will be stored in a safe place until either claimed or donated.

For any items lost that have the student's name, the Transportation Department will try to reunite that item with its original owner. This includes calling the student’s parent/guardian.
