Drake Haren, the science teacher at Three Springs High School, received a two-year extension on his MJ Murdock Partners in Science grant. This grant has allowed Mr. Haren to work with Dr. Krisztian Magori at Eastern Washington University to conduct research on ticks. Students have been able to assist in field research, gathering ticks at the the Three Springs Nike Center site.

The grant extension will help purchase equipment and allow for additional opportunities to involve students in research projects. Congrats Mr. Haren and Three Springs High School!
