Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our children and staff through services that maintain and preserve Cheney Public School's buildings and grounds, focusing on safety, responsiveness, quality workmanship, and cost-effectiveness.
The Maintenance & Operations Team
Our maintenance department utilizes quality work procedures to provide preventative maintenance, safe environments and effective stewardship of our community’s resources. Our staff receives updated training in their various fields to stay on top of changes in the industry.
We have a custodial staff that is dedicated to providing a safe environment for our community’s children. Their effort is reflected in the buildings they keep clean, safe and sanitized. Our custodial staff has jobs that require them to always remain adaptable to the many facets of their responsibilities.
We provide services in the following trades, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Metal fabrication, Electrical, Painting, Grounds keeping, Life safety systems, Warehousing, Electronic Security access, Locksmithing, Flooring, Tile work and Custom construction.
Our staff holds many licenses and State certifications including Refrigerant license, Boiler Operator License ,Natural gas license, Electrical license, Asbestos certification, Backflow Assembly Testing Certification, Journeyman level carpenter and painter, Pesticide licenses, Building Operators Certifications, Fire sprinkler inspection certification, and five receive training in self-inspectors for County Health building Inspections.
We have an experienced and knowledgeable staff that always strives to excel and succeed in all of their endeavors.
