Classified PSEC Employees
Per Section 8.11 of the PSEC contract:
· Year-round employees are granted two (2) days of personal leave annually and are eligible to cash out up to two days in July. These days do not roll over.
· Less than year-round employees are granted three (3) days of personal leave annually and are eligible to cash out up to three days in July. Up to 2 remaining personal leave days may be accumulated from one school year to the next.
· Email Martina Brown at mbrown@cheneysd.org if you wish to cash out your unused personal days.
· Personal leave accumulated from the previous year must be taken as leave and may not be cashed out.
Certificated CEA Employees
Per Article V, Section 14
· Three personal leave days separate from any other leave will be granted each year. The 3 personal leave days granted during the current school year may be:
1. Used by the employee for personal leave, or
2. If not used for personal leave, may be worked as additional hours beyond the school day or year at the employee's per diem rate by submitting the annual per diem sheet.
· After August payroll is processed, remaining personal leave days will automatically accumulate for the next school year.
Certificated Administrators CAA
· Three (3) personal leave days separate from any other leave will be granted each year. The three (3) personal leave days granted during the current school year may be:
1. Used by the employee for personal leave, or
2. If not used for personal leave, may be cashed out at the employee’s per diem rate.
3. Personal leave may be accumulated from one school year to the next.
· After August payroll is processed, remaining personal leave days will automatically accumulate for the next school year.
Classified and Certificated Non-Represented Employees
· Year-round employees are granted two (2) days of personal leave annually and are eligible to cash out up to two days at the end of each year. These days do not roll over.
· Email payroll if you wish to cash out your unused personal days.
