November 2026 Replacement Levies

Levies provide local funding that bridges the gap between what the state and federal governments pay and the actual costs of operating our schools. Cheney Public Schools will have a Replacement EP&O Levy and a Replacement Capital Levy on the ballot in November. Take a look at the information below to learn more about each measure.

Replacement EP&O Levy

The November 3 Replacement EP&O Levy replaces an expiring levy to continue funding for:

  • Athletics & Activities
  • Staffing Above the Prototypical Model
    • Counselors
    • Paraeducators
    • Nurses
    • Custodians
  • Special Education
  • Safety & Security - YES Officers

Replacement Capital Levy

The November 3 Replacement Capital Levy replaces an expiring levy to continue funding for:

  • Technology Upgrades
  • Security Improvements
  • Facility Infrastructure
  • Furniture & Equipment
  • Implementation & Ongoing Support
