Kindergarten Registration Opens March 1, 2023
Student registration for grades 1 – 12 for the 2023-2024 school year began on June 1st and can be accepted anytime during the school year if new to Cheney Public Schools. Visit the main student registration page for more details.

What do I need to register a Kindergarten student?
You will be required to provide proof of birthdate, immunization records and proof of residence (such as a utility bill) when registering. 
How old does my child need to be to register for Kindergarten?
Children must be 5 by August 31st to be in Kindergarten that school year. The parent/guardian registering the child must also provide a valid ID.

What do I need to do if I would like to homeschool my child?
If you are seeking to homeschool your child and your child is between the ages of 8 - 18 you must file a Declaration of Intent annually by September 15 with the school district. The form can be found here.
