CHS VOLLEYBALL TEAM AT STATE

The volleyball team traveled to Lacey and got its first State victory since 1987! The Blackhawks defeated Steilacoom 3-0 in match #1. They then faced the eventual State 2A runner-up, Woodland. Our Blackhawks battled, but could not overcome the Woodland front, and then took on a "BIG" Ridgefield team. Though they fought valiantly, they eventually succumbed to the powerful hitting of the Spudders' outside hitters. Our team went home just out of a trophy, taking 9th place at the tournament. Rylie Pease was recognized as an Honorable Mention to the 2A State All-Tournament team! These ladies represented CHS very well, and we are very proud of them. Thanks, too, to the cheerleaders for doing a wonderful job of leading our crowd!
