Cheney Public Schools is excited to announce the finalist candidates for the next principal of Cheney Middle School. The two candidates possess great experience and a passion for education.

 

Ms. Rebecca Parrill is currently the principal of Valley School in Valley, Washington, and previously served as a principal assistant at Adams Elementary in Spokane. She has also taught for 13 years in Idaho, Arizona, and Ohio. Ms. Parrill holds a BA in Secondary Education from the University of Akron and an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. 

 

Mrs. Jennifer Norman is currently the assistant principal at Lewis and Clark Middle School in Yakima, Washington. Before this role, she served as a teacher for 11 years in central Washington. Mrs. Norman holds a BA in Elementary Education from Washington State University and a MA in Teaching and Learning from Heritage University in Toppenish, Wash.

 

Cheney Public Schools congratulates Ms. Parrill and Mrs. Norman and looks forward to the next stage of the interview process, including a public forum. The forum will be held on Tuesday, July 19 from 4:45 to 6 pm. The schedule includes a welcome from 4:45-5:00 pm and the candidate forum 5:00 - 6:00 pm.
