Diana Gfeller named Classified Employee of the Year

Congratulations to Diana Gfeller for receiving the PSE Classified Employee of the Year Award. Diana is the heart of the Transportation Department. Some of the words that describe her are: caring, hard working, helpful, calm and level-headed, loyal, dedicated and a team player. Diana knows the ins and outs of the Transportation Department, as well as the whole district. Diana has worked for the Cheney School District for over 26 years. She keeps track of over 2200 kids who ride buses daily, and over 1350 bus stops, making sure our kids get to and from school, to their right destinations, whether it be to home, field trips, or athletic activities. Diana is a multi-tasker. Between the parent phone calls, radio bus calls, district calls, she is able to stay calm and get the right information to the correct person. She is never to busy to help anyone in need of information. Diana treats everyone who walks through the door at Transportation with the same smile and great attitude.
