The 7th Annual Cheney Blackhawks Golf Scramble Fundraiser will be held this year on Saturday June 13th the Fairways at West Terrace (Cheney). Start time is 9:00 AM. Cost is $70 per player. The price includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and lunch. We are hoping for as many foursomes as possible, but if someone wants to play and they don’t have a team, we can place them with a group.  There will be individual prizes (for ladies and mens closest to the pin and longest drive), plaques for the first place team, and a consolation prize for last place.  We will also be holding an optional putting contest and a raffle with lots of fun raffle items (including a Limited Edition Russell Wilson Laser Printed football donated by the Seattle Seahawks)!  All are welcome.  Funds raised will help support CHS Athletics and the Kiwanis Club.  For more information and a registration form, contact Sandra Mathews at Cheney High School at 559-4031.  You may also register online by clicking on the following link:  Blackhawks Golf Scramble

  • Congratulations Blackhawks!

U.S. News has ranked Cheney High School as one of the best High Schools in Washington State for 2015.  They reviewed 29,070 2015 U.S. public high schools; 169 Washington schools made the rankings.

Using state test scores, AP test scores, and enrollment data along with a comprehensive methodology, CHS was given College Readiness Index score, with the top-scoring 6,500 schools receiving a gold, silver or bronze medal and - in the case of gold and silver schools - a numerical ranking.
