  • One Example of Why We Love Our Students

"WIAA Give Me 5 Star Student of the Month" nominee Aubree Vandine  Aubree     from CMS did something amazing. Our Principal, Mike Stark nominated her for a particularly heartwarming display of sportsmanship, saying the following: "Aubree's 7th grade JV team played another school who had a student with special needs on their team. Aubree wore a special colored jersey so the opposing athlete could better remember who she was guarding. But the part that made it such a great display of sportsmanship was the entire time the other student was guarding Aubree, Aubree was coaching her - taking her hand and showing her where to be, reminding her to run down the court, and helping to make the experience a successful one for her opponent." We are all so proud of the sportsmanship Aubree showed toward a student who needed a little something extra in order to have a positive experience.

  • Cheney Middle School ASB Cards

CMS ASB cards will now admit students to a high school home game for free. Students should be accompanied by an adult into the game. They are being instructed about these school events, and the necessity to obey rules even though in a fun atmosphere. It will be awesome to be able to have our middle schoolers support their high school! The CMS ASB card may be purchased at the business office window for $30.00.
