Cheney Public Schools is pilot the Teacher Principal Evaluation Pilot during the 2012-13 school year.

The purpose of this page is to share resources which have been selected, modified, or created for our teacher and administrator use and to communicate with all TPEP participants.
 
Trainings:
The District TPEP Leadership Team is sponsoring three district-wide trainings for our TPEP teachers. The trainings are scheduled for October, February and April. Please register for this training via the Professional Development calendar on the website.
 
In addition, the District TPEP Leadership Team will partner with the building level leadership team to provide for six Friday collaborations for the teacher TPEP participants at their site. Two collaborations will be offered between each of the district-wide trainings.
 
The District TPEP Leadership Team is also sponsoring a book study of the Marzano book "Becoming a Reflective Teacher." Please register to participate in the monthly conversations via the Professional Development calendar on the website.
 
The instructional framework selected for the teacher evaluation is the Marzano Instructional Framework. A rubric for the Marzano Instruction Framework is available for teachers and administrators to reference as they complete their self-assessment.
 
The leadership framework selected for the principal evaluation is the AWSP Leadership Framework. A rubric for the AWSP Leadership Framework is available for building and central office administrators to reference as they complete their self-assessment. Each administrator has also created goals based upon the AWSP Leadership Framework using this form.
