  • WMS WOLVERINES LEAD
The Westwood Middle School Wolverine Pride and ASB Leadership students spent last Wednesday through Friday preparing video lessons to teach expectations for student behavior to all students the first day of school.  Additionally, they design and facilitate our assemblies such as the Fund Run, Spirit Week and Veterans' Day.  These students are role models for Westwood, and their hard work and willingness to serve are deeply appreciated!

  • SKYLERT TEXT MESSAGE SYSTEM NOW AVAILABLE
We are pleased to announce that parents and guardians can now receive text messages from their child's school.  They can also choose what types of messages they receive - from emergency messages only, to text messages about their child's lunch balance.  Click here for directions on how to use this new feature of Family Access titled Skylert.  In addition to authorizing the school to send a text message, parents can also take a few minutes to update their email address and phone number(s).  We look forward to the new school year and strengthening our communication with parents and guardians using these new features.

  • WANT TO HELP THOSE AFFECTED BY FIRES?
This summer and specifically this week we have learned of the loss of lives, homes, businesses and the impact on communities across our state as a result of fires.  We have learned that the best way for us to help is to make a financial donation to the American Red Cross-Northwest:  HELP2NW Disaster Relief, American Red Cross Northwest, 315 N. Nora Ave., Spokane, WA  99205.
