  •  CHENEY FFA & SCRAPS

Cheney FFA has chosen to serve their community this year by volunteering monthly at the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Agency (SCRAPS).  As part of this service project, the chapter organized a pet food drive.  Several of our members spent time on Sunday in front of WalMart in Airway Heights collecting food, toys, littler, and cleaning supplies.  It was a huge success!  We were able to collect over $2,000 in cash and supplies.  We will be delivering the donations to SCRAPS next week.  Donations are also being collected from staff and students at each of the district’s elementary schools through Monday.  If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause, donations can be dropped off at CHS through Monday, February 15th.  Thank you to all who have already contributed, your donations are appreciated and will make a difference for abandoned pets in our area.
